BUS OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE FACILITY

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NORTH CAROLINA

The new Bus Operation and Maintenance Facility allows TTA to perform most maintenance operations on site, reducing costs and "dead head" miles.

The 21,800 SF facility contains:

  * 6 service bays - 2 flat, 2 lift and 2 pit

  * A fueling and PM maintenance bay

  * Bus wash

  * Chassis steam clean wash

  * Parts storage

  * Shops: brake, electrical and others

  * Driver's locker and training room

  * Appropriate storage

  * Dispatch and operations area

Outside facilities include:

  * Parking for 100 vehicles
