MMPA is providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design for the new College Hill Residence Hall at East Carolina University. This project is currently in the Construction Administration Phase.

The new residence hall has over 480 beds and exceeds 164,000 SF.
Housing is organized into suites over fire, tiered occupied floors.
HVAC systems are designed for optimum energy efficiency and indoor environmental quality. Unique design features include:

  - Water cooled centrifugal chillers with variable speed drivers
  - Cooling towers with low sound fans and water silencers
  - VAV air handling systems with thermosyphon energy recovery heat pipes, 50° F supply air temperature
  - MERV 14 filtration, and UV lights
  - Variable primary flow chilled and hot water plants
