COMPANY SHOPS STATION

BURLINGTON, NORTH CAROLINA

MMPA worked with the North Carolina Railroad to renovate and revitalize the only surviving structure from the Company Shops Railroad Maintenance Complex. The exiting structure pre-dates the Civil War. The 1870's Engine House now accommodates North Carolina Railroad's new Company Shops Station.

Company Shops Station won an Award of Merit for Best Adaptive Use of a Building from the Main Street, North Carolina Division of the Department of Commerce.
