ASHRAE Region IV: First Place Technology Award Winner

MMPA received First Place Region IV Technology Award from ASHRAE in the Existing Public Assembly category for the HVAC Replacement & Upgrade at the Greensboro Historical Museum.

MMPA was selected to provide professional engineering services to upgrade the HVAC systems at the Greensboro Historical Museum. Built prior to the Civil War, the Museum is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and served as a hospital during the Civil War.

In addition to chiller and boiler replacement, renovations focused on providing humidity control on a year round basis to protect artifacts displayed and stored at the Museum. To compliment this work, building automation systems were installed to allow for comprehensive energy and maintenance management.
