DUKE UNIVERSITY TAISHOFF AQUATICS CENTER DURHAM, NORTH CAROLINA
This renovation project brought Duke University's Taishoff Aquatics Center facility back up to standard with the refurbishment of two paddock pools.
Renovations included replacing out-dated pool filters, resurfacing the pool surfaces, installation of an underwater lighting system and installation of a waterproofed ceramic tile deck.
Old pendant lights were replaced with a glare-free indirect lighting system designed to withstand the natatorium's corrosive environment.
A modern electronic timing and scoreboard system was added and remedial issues were resolved for accessibility and emergency egress. |
